Hannibal was the leader of The A-team.
Never seen without a cigar clamped between his teeth, he was a brilliant
strategist, planner and master of disguise. He loved nothing more than
dressing up, although sometimes his costumes were a little, hmm... odd?
He became known for this catchphrase: "I love it when a plan comes
together".
The A-Team was certainly George Peppard's most famous role. After the
show he starred in TV drama Man Against The Mob about an LA cop. It
proved successful, but Peppard died from pneumonia after the second
series on May 8, 1994, in Los Angeles. He'd also battled lung cancer. Peppard lived a full life though,
he was married five times and fathered three children. He is buried alongside his parents George Sr and Vernelle in Northview Cemetery, Dearborn Michigan.
